Employment

Each year, we may add several new guides, office personnel, and retail sales associates to our staff. The hiring process begins in December, and ends when all positions are filled. Housing opportunities may be available for new staff.

Please email your resume and cover letter to Packer Expeditions. Previous guiding experience preferred but not required. All guide applicants must have their Wilderness First Responder certification, or be willing to obtain one before the employment period begins. All work is seasonal, beginning in late April and ending in late September.

These tours are operated under a special use permit with the US Forest Service in the Tongass National Forest. This company is an equal opportunity provider.
