Heli-Hiking: Skagway’s Ultimate Adventure

Our award-winning tour, sure to satisfy your appetite for adventure. Enjoy an amazing guided scenic flight over the glaciers and Sawtooth Mountains to Glacier Station, followed by a two-mile hike up to the Laughton Glacier viewpoint, then a 1-hr train ride back to Skagway.

Glacier Lake Kayaking

Allow us to introduce you to the sport of kayaking in a pristine glacially-carved lake surrounded by snow-capped peaks on all sides. Take the train up, then a narrated motor coach ride back down via the scenic Klondike Highway.

All-Day Laughton Glacier Hike

Come see one of the most magnificent hanging glaciers Skagway has to offer! A 1-hour train ride followed by a gently ascending hike along the Skagway river, through the pristine sub-alpine Tongass National Forest, to the Laughton Glacier. Here, the trail gets a little rougher and steeper as we hike over glacial erratics and moraines to get up onto the moving river of ice.

Sawtooth Mountains Nature Hike

A 20-minute train ride followed by a nature-filled hike along the Denver River into the majestic, untouched old-growth rainforest. You’ll learn all about the amazing biodiversity this forest holds, and how the natives of the past, and locals of today, make use of it. Includes several spectacular lookout points.

Hike the Historic Chilkoot Trail

Let us do all the logistics and catering so that you can enjoy all 33 miles of scenery and history of one of the oldest trails in the world. Once a popular trade route of the Tlingit Indians, the Chilkoot trail was also the preferred access route to the headwaters of the Yukon River for the stampeders of the 1898 Yukon Gold Rush.
